Hi guys, im a newbie here. Need help on 2 things. would appreciate your advice & help.

I recent bought the Woodland Scenics water.i tried pouring the water onto my diorama groundwork but it seems like the water is absorb by my base which i use Tamiya Soil effect to create my ground. So how can i stop this.

Secondly what do you use to cover the side of the diorama to prevent the water from spilling out.

try sealing the base with a coat of white glue, it should try clear and then you can pour the water over it. as to your other question,make a box out of scrap styrene and fill the gap between the base and the styrene with a little plastacene, that should stop it going down the sides. once its dry you can just take the styrene and plastacene away and your done!
