Thanks Daren for the review!
If I understand you correctly one can build all three vehicles from one box? When the kit was announced I thought there would be the option to build one of the three variants... If you can build three that's a good deal indeed, and a good way to feed the spare box or find parts for conversions to other Wiesel 2 variants, like the ambulance.
Revell has two PE sets for the older, individual boxings, they're nice but kind of pricey, made by Eduard for Revell.
Cheers,
Christophe

Christophe The parts are included to build all three vehicles that make up the LeFlaSys.

My local hobby shop now has several of those kits in stock, it's a BIG heavy box.
I normally would have bought it but since I've got to move house next summer, I resisted...
Cheers,
Christophe

How much work would it be to convert the command vehicle to an ambulance or a mortar carrier?

Well in that respect the model is a blank canvas, amd so if you have the details I am sure it would be possible.

We are talking German Bundeswehr here. You can never be sure that there isn't a rule in the book that says "If you send x you have to send y". After all Saint Bureaucracy is the most revered german patron saint
OTOH airpower is over-valued. How did the old yoke go:
Two Soviet tank officers walk down the Champs-Elysee after WW3. Asks one "Tell me Iwan, this Air War, did we win that or NATO?"
===============
The kits are nice and having all three in "one box" is even better. PE is something that RoC will likely never add since they are targeting Toys R Us and similar shops as well as pure model shops. So they offer "add on purchase" of PE but keep the price down.
Now if they could offer a variant of their Wolf that can be used as the liasion/support vehicle it would be an almost perfect year (Perfect: Revell offering an Iltis and a Unimog 404 "Funk")
