I agree. All the dedicated detail work will really pay off in the final look

Damn, that's looking really good, Dave! I especially love your damaged rear fender with the torn/broken rubber - quite realistic looking.

Can't wait to see this at our club meeting Wednesday evening.

Really coming along nicely, Dave!

I agree with Jeff about the damage and wear and tear. It adds a lot of realism.

I'm looking forward to seeing it first hand tomorrow night at our meeting.

This is coming along real well- the weathering is fantastic and the damage to the fenders really adds to that 'well used' look. Great stuff David!

Hi,
great build. Well done. Fenders = Mind blowing! I got the same kit now. Got the Odessa decals. And I broke down and got the Voyager Slat Armour. Very nice kit. But you got me wondering, if it's a T-62... Why do you put T-72 tracks on her? I'm still learning in Modern Soviet field. So take it easy on me.

Cheers,
Tom

The Rmsh tracks would have been fitted when the tank would come in for its overhaul, possibly along with any upgrades that had been fielded since the particular vehicle had last been through rebuild. The reason you see the T-62 with so many variations; full or only partial set of up armor kit, laser range finder, etc.

Okay,
I got some tracks for a T72 here. Now do I use the same drive sprocket from the T62? Will it fit?

Cheers,
Tom
