Hi
Does anyone order resin model from AZIMUT PRODUCTIONS, many models websites and magazines have published their advertisements.
I had an unpleasant experience,
In November 2013 ordered two resin models, but until today I still have not received my order goods, I check their website just shows "on hold" , I have repeatedly via email to they query, but did not respond.
Will everyone has the same experience, and finally how to get your goods or refund.
Thank you

Hi,
I pre-ordered a multi-media BVM kit in December and received it in late January.
That said if you do a search of various modelling forums some people are complaining.
Out of curiosity which kits did you order exactly? If they are not in stock they may be waiting for a recast, which may take months...
Good luck,
Cheers,
Christophe

I ordered a resin kit off them in the beginning of last year and like you I heard nothing, no response to E-mails, order shown as on hold. Then out of the blue nearly 6 months later my kit arrived. So hang in there, it will come one day

Six months from order to delivery is not acceptable in this day and age, especially as they take your money the second you place the order! Why should I lock my funds down for six months (or more)? They should be paying their customers interest!
They only answer e-mails if you write to them in French? Unbelievable. How do you say "wake up and smell the coffee" in French? Its a good thing the stores in China don't expect us to communicate with them in Chinese!
(Yes, I have had similar experiences with Azimut, the last time I ordered I claimed my money back through my credit card company).

Even if you use French, a reply is not guaranteed

There are simply too many interesting kits and conversions from too many other manufacturers to bother wasting my time with those that have strange ideas about how to do business and how to handle customers.
For someone with easy access to Paris it might be an idea to set up shop on ebay reselling Azimut/Ironside/BVM, many would probably be willing to pay a little extra to avoid the experience of doing business with Azimut.

Never ordered from Azimut.
Not for any particular reason, but after reading that many complaints and problems... I'll just stay away.

Hey guys,
Sorry for piggybacking on this thread but if you are interested by Azimut items and you are reluctant to order from them because of their bad reputation, I would like to inform you that I'm currently collecting signatures in a petition to interest big companies to produce kits (AMX-10 RCR) that azimut produced but are difficult to obtain firstly because they are either out of production or because azimut will just never ship your items to you. This apply to the AMX-10 RC(R) but also to the ERC-90 Sagaie, the VBL etc.. All of which were produced by this company. If we get the attention of the big players in the industry maybe they'll see that there is a strong demand for more french AFV'S and we could see the entire resine line of products that azimut produced, but in plastic, which could substitute the modelers demand towards those Azimut products.
Here is the petition : http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/asking-for-an-amx-10-rcr-in-135th-scale
Thank you !

Hello there,
Heading at the top says "contests", in English.
I think as Christophe suggested it could be a language thing, "contest" has several meanings.
As for Az**ut, how long is one supposed to wait? My order which was placed in May 2012, money taken the next day, is still outstanding, despite several emails (in French).
It's not a "French thing", they're just thieves.
Cheers,
Sean
