I've wondered this for a while and could do with some guidance thanks.
Presumably all armies need a jerry can equivalent yet I don't see many on reference pics of Middle East armour (with the obvious exception of the IDF obviously) and no-one seems to offer a set in aftermarket either.
Presumably an item as common as this is found worldwide but in what patterns? I've seen the British clone of the German original marketed for civilian use but is that pattern in common use worldwide?
Presumably states supplied with foreign equipment may also end up with that countries versions of this item, eg: Jordan and Egypt being supplied by Britain and Iran being supplied by the US at varying moments in history.
I guess by this rational the prevalence of Russian and PLA armour in the Middle East would lead to their versions being adopted, but for that matter I'm not familiar with these nations variants of this ubiquitous item.
Any ideas? Reference pics welcomed, also tips for getting 1/35 versions would be great if not obvious.
I guess there's a lot of nations out there but I'm most interested in the following:
Syria
Egypt
Iran
Iraq
Libya
Any help is much appreciated!

You can take a look at this thread regarding Soviet/Russian fuel cans :

Tank has released some 20 liter cans that appear to fit the bill (I'm not sure they're WW2 or postwar...) :

The Russian/Soviet fuel cans I was talking about in my previous post resemble those seen fitted to Iraqi AFV's like this ZSU-23-4 :

Nice work Frency!
A one man walking reference library!
That certainly clears up the soviet side and I'm guessing these would be fairly prevalent in the middle east. Any evidence of some states using other variants?
I'm thinking the US style may be fairly widely available?
I was reading some info on the stash of MP44's found by Rebel's in Syria, presumably part of post-war supplies like the Pzkpfw IV's they got hold of - just shows it's amazing what ends up in that part of the world if it still has some use!
