Hi Gang,

got me Blast Models "US Army Tactical Armed Robot" before the company closes. Now I wonder if the vehicles/systems are in operational service with the US Forces or are they only prototypes.

TIA

Hi Hans-Hermann

According to Wikipedia :"In 2007, three SWORDS units were deployed to Iraq. Each unit is armed with a M249 machine gun. This deployment marks the first time that robots are carrying guns into battle; however, their weapons have remained unused as the Army has never given the go-ahead for using them. The Army stopped funding the SWORDS robots after deploying the initial three robots."

I guess deployment pics may be hard to come by

Hmmm.... good to know. So I can keep the kit in storage.
Fortunatly, the Terminator T-800 will be in a far future (2029)

That is exactly what they remind me of. Aerial drones, ground robots and autonomous convoys. Funny thing about science-fiction is how it always seems to come true.

Didn`t know the designation, but yes! Cool find. Anyone makes "Arnie" and the T-X in the same scale?

Cool that there is also the Aerial Hunter Killer available. I guess I need some bottles of Crome color. But wasn`t the Hunter Killer Tank from T3?
