Hi Steve,

A really nice diorama. Tommy's been cat hunting - one down, 1,300 to go!

Good detail but not so much that one's eye is distracted from the subject. I like how you burned the exterior yet left enough untouched to see the camo and to identify it as 1st SS-Pz.Div. LSSAH.

Very nicely done, especially for 1/72 scale. Great detail on both the tank and the base.

Here's a question for debate... Would a fire extinguisher survive the fire that obviously consumed the rear portion of the tank? Just wondering....

WW II is actually not my topic but this build and the vignette are realy very nicely done. Very realistic paint job.
All Thumbs up!

Michael

I was hoping someone would chime in with some experience in the matter. It just seems to me the heat would create a bad pressure build up causing the tank to rupture, or at least blow out the valve top.

Hi All,
Thanks for the kind words! Interesting point about the fire extinguisher, never thought about that!
The shot penetration is in the rear plate, top left.
