Hello , i have a question. I have search on internet for photos and i found a strange antenna or something that looks to have a lot microphones in all directions...
Is it used to recognize where the enemy shooting from? I think i saw that on television.. If i am wrong what is it used for? And what is the name on the thing?
The veichles i have seen this thing on is Mrap veichles in afghanistan... Does anyone have a good reference photo of that thing? I would like to scratchbuild one or maybe send info to a aftermarket company...

And sorry that i can not show a photo of the thing but as i said it looks to have a lot of microphones on it and under the microphones? There is a big ring...
And they are used on american veichles in Afghanistan and maybe also in Iraq...

A similar system on french VAB in Afghanistan called SLATE (Système de Localisation Acoustique de Tireur Embusqué)but the system seems to work only with the Remote weapon system.
