Hi everyone.
Were the more rounded version of the Tiger I exhaust heat shields found on Tigers of Pz.Abt. 501 in Africa. Some pictures look like they are of this variety yet I can't be sure.

Thanks David. I'm using the Voyager PE set and there is only one set of mounting brackets for the shields which would seem, in real life, flimsy.

That would be awesome David. The Voyager set provides for brackets at the top with dimples punched out on both sides of each shield to simulate rivets. The Aber set provides the same brackets yet they are mounted outwards from the shield walls while Voyager instructs to mount them inwards from the shield walls. Aber provides bolts for the bottom portion of the shields. Were they bolted to sides of the exhaust wells (I don't know what they're called).

Seems like the 1 company and 2 company had slightly different shields. Haven't drawn them yet, so I can't say for sure.
Attachment was by bolts. One or two nuts were welded on each side of the armour guards. Welded tabs with a hole were near the top of the rear wall.
Ignore the fake exhaust added by the museum.

Are the louvres supposed to protrude inward or outward?
The way the Voyager set is etched, it looks like they would go on the opposite site of the bolt/rivet detail...which doesn't seem right.

A louver consisted of a single cut with cross-cuts at the ends to make a flap above and below. The upper one was bent outwards, the lower one inwards.
