Hi all,I've my first figure on the bench....
I would know if:
Are there other types of camo/colours besides the ACU&similar camo in which can I paint the live resin figure(35001)?!
Can I depict a swat operator with the 35001 figure?!I don't know much about equipment so I ask here if there are some options about the painting cause to start with a digital camo for the first figure is a bit hard.
Can you help me to correct eventually the figure?!I mean if I need to change weapons/accessories and so on.
Cheers
Ciro

Hi Ciro,
Not an easy task for a first figure... I would say ACU or MultiCam (perhaps the new AOR pattern as well) would be good for camouflage. I don't want to say for sure, but I don't think other camo patterns would be good for this figure. I have seen some examples of using ACU decals for this particular figure... would this be an option for you?
Perhaps some of the guys actually serving in the US Special Forces would give you more details.

Hi Mario,I've seen this figure with decal...but I've this in mind as "ultima ratio".I've done some research on the net and it seems that the iotv body armor is also used by swat...of course the ones that I've seen look similar to the one on resin figure. The uniform, covered by the iotv(torso&arms)looks to be similar to a swat operator.
The Mtek mask is less common in these Forces,at least,in that type.
Live Resin sets/figures are a great product but if you haven't a solution for the camo they are hard to paint.Of course you can do a kind of "sci-fi" camo and here we have endless possibilities but it's not my primary goal.I'll try to follow your steps about the ACU/MARPAT/AOR and so on...maybe someone can give me some other informations or solutions
Thank you!
Ciro

Hi,
maybe another option would be a CIA SAD night ops figure, all in black?
This figure is rather well armed for a civilian SWAT operator, who would rarely use a 7.62 assault rifle with a 40mm UGL. If you were to swap out the rifle for a straight 5.56mm assault rifle, then yes, go for it. It would look freightening in black (which is the whole point)!
There are photos over at militaryphoto.net of the uniform in US woodland camo, and desert too. So it is not totally unrealistic, or unlikely, to find this figure in your camo of choice - within reason of course.

Hi Kylie,
thank you!I'm doing some research on this way(CIA SAD).Uniform and IOTV looks similar. All black suite it's "easy" to do,it could be cool,of course I need to change the SCAR with something else but the LiveResin range is wide so I can do that...I really ho to have a dedicated figureDecal one day on the bench...who knows!?
Cheers
