Some time back I did a quick in box review of the new Resicast 18pdr field gun.

The 18 pdr was developed in 1904 and became the main stay of the British Army in WW1. It was a QF field gun designed to be drawn behind a limber and 6 horses and development came as a result of experience gained in the Boar War. It remained in service, with some modifications, until replaced by the 25pdr in WW2.
Just under 10,000 guns were produced during the Great War and it was used by both British and Commonwealth forces in all theaters of the war.
As artillery played such a key role in the war it seems like another fitting build to embark on this year.
This won't be such a large project as my Somme dioramas but I though I'd shift the emphasis to the Australians although I need to do a bit more research.
This is where I'm hoping the build will take me
