Like a lot of you, i've got a couple extra of the old tamiya m113 when they were carried by mrc and dirt cheap (remember when you get MRC-Tamiya for 7.98). Now, I'm not about to pay 30 bucks for one of the new ones. So...did any company ever put out a conversion kit or at least the rear fuel tanks to make them m113a2s or m113a3s?

A2s don't have the external fuel cells, save for a couple of special purpose variants (FIST-V, M1064). Verlinden made a set of external fuel cells. Academy includes them in their M113A2 kit. I've also got a resin/metal set that makes an M113 into a Canadian version. It comes with a set of external fuel cells as well.

I have at least one set of the exterior fuel tanks from the Academy or Italieri M113 kit. I am not planning on using them, and if you would like to have them they are yours. PM me and we can make arrangements to send them to you.
