Hi Kevin,
I think it is zil-151 not 157 hence the rear dual axes. The 157 has only singles on all axes with bigger wheel diameter.

It is a BM-13 Katyusha rocket system on a Zil-151 chassis. This is a post WWII version used during the '50s and '60's by the Soviets and as late as the '80s by Third World Soviet client states. It is the same version as produced by Italeri for years. It should be much better than the old Italeri kit though.

I remember seeing this vehicle, or one very similar to it, being used in the Lebanese civil war back in 1975. Good release.

None the less... the armor shielding around the cab is a new one on me and never seen them set up like that.

Judging by the pics I've seen, many similar set-ups can be found with minor differences between them (with or without vision slits for instance...).
