Hi, friends. Sorry for my English. I know the language is not very good.
I decided to build old Tamiya kit. Tamiya tell us that this a 11CV model. It`s wrong. Dimensions correspond to the model 7CV. At first I lowered his down line of the side windows and sawed roof in front.
The same way I sawed wings and radiator grille.
Then I did front suspension. I belive my work as well as Tamiya

Hello Maxx,
Good job on the build, I like what you did to detail the front suspension. On the other hand it is totaly unclear to me what you did with the roof and windows as that is not realy evident from the photos.
Tamiya may after all be correct about the citroen being 11CV and you are correct that the dimensions correspond to a 7CV model because those citoens shared the same body and the difference was only in engine size and perhaps trim.
Cheers,
Greg

Dear Greg. You are bit wrong about bodyes. http://www.classiccarcatalogue.com/C/citroen%201938%20017.jpg
In this chart are not lengthened bodyes( familiale, commercial). Only 11AL and 11BL were identical in size with 7. It were 7 bodyes with 11 engine.
About your questions. See pictures:

Interesting that someone is paying so much attention to a car. Normally they're just thrown together as part of a diorama.
Will be following.

I did rear suspension ( light tuning). Grandfather Tamiya was right about shape of rear beam. The round tube rear axle is replaced by the cruciform type in 35 year. But what was he mean in an armored unit, I don`t understand..

Hi Maxx.
Good to see a TA is treated so nice.
Scale size is good for detail on suspension and chassis.
I'm building a TA15 for the Rusty campaign.
If you need any help concerning further detail, feel free to ask.
Some pics from my TA15 can be found in my gallery. Feel free to watch them.
Car is still not ready, but close.
Rear axle. The diagonal(the 'Panhard') you made is ok. Shape of the axle also.
I'll be watching this very close..
Regards,
Robert Jan

Great gob with you 15TA, Robert. Scale 1/16 is good for detaling. I`m not want to doing full copy with my Citro. Only minor adjustments for better perception.
