And they still haven't fixed the "mesh" on the sides (which is really made from slats).

you know bombertom is right. It is amazing that all companies produce the same models. There are so many half trucks that nobody produced, why do they produce the same vehicles all the time at the same time?

Probably for much the same reason that we saw 'CSI' spawn 'CSI:Miami' and 'CSI:NY' -- a completely-new model is a significant investment for the mold tooling; if a kit can re-use sprues from another kit, its development cost is lower, and if there's a kit of the same subject from another manufacturer, then there is a known sales record to give them some idea of what kind of sales they could expect.

I believe the flak 43 is available from Great Wall hobby as a separate kit . Now if you did not glue down the the flakvierling 38 or the 3.7 flak 38 you got it . Nothing else must of changed but the gun and oh the price , did it go up ?

Love the artwork, absolutely gorgeous. This will need the slat siding though. I kind of wish Dragon would have just released their own 3.7cm flak 43 instead, I promise you they will though...promise. Also, these vehicles were hardly ever without their ammo trailers. You'll need a Sd.Ah.52 and a nice aftermarket ammo and box set for a great depiction. Man, I wish they'd include it along with the rear crew cab tarpaulin in DS.
