With a better observation of sprueshots i noticed that two FN MG'S and the different armor plates noticed in the front part of the hull of the Dalet might be included:
I really hope AFV might include also these parts I wonder if a different gun barrel is needed for both the gimel and the dalet version. Anyway great release!

Greg, you probably mean Strv.104. Differences are quite considerable on both turret and hull, but the conversion is not impossible (the first AFV Club Shot Kal release can be used as well, but the Gimel version has the correct commanders hatch for the turret, so I guess this new kit would be more suitable at the end of the day).

The additional Israeli armour packages on the Gimel are not similar in any way to the strv.104.

To be honest, your absolut best bet for a Strv.104 is Hobby Fans conversion.
If you enjoy scratchbuilding, though, then you can definitely use the diesel engined Israeli Centurion kits as a base for a Strv.104.

Given the relationship between Hobby Fan and AFV Club (i.e. same company) I just don't seem them doing an injection-molded Strv.104. Maybe a boxing that combined the HF Strv. 104 and a Centurion, but I don't think there's ever been a case where AFV Club have released a "variation" that they've put out via Hobby Fan at a later date in injection-molded form.

If you take a closer look especially in the photo with the new tooling parts you should notice that compared with an old photo some parts of the 2nd variation of hull armor plates are missing. Maybe AFV considers to offer another variant of the Shot Kal in the near future? Here is the old photo: and that is the new tooling parts offered in the kit:. The parts i am talking about are indicated in the red square of the 1st photo! Maybe we will soon see a Dalet version! Who knows1
