Hi all,

I have been searching with the wonder that is Google looking for the Type 87 AW in winter camo. I have seen pics of other JGSDF vehicles in winter camo's but not this Vehicle. I am approaching paint stage in mine and would really like to do it that way, if it ever has been and I can see a pic or two.

I have been searching for the same type photos. I just got this kit this week, the Trumpeter 1/35 kit. Squadron had it on sale for $26.00, so I had to jump on it. I too have seen lots of pics of other JGSDF vehicles in winter camo, but not this one. I do have the Tamiysa Type 74 tank Winter Version and the instructions have drawing of the winter paint scheme. I was going to use it as the base for my paint job. It may not be 100% correct, but it is all I have found. Maybe this was never painted in winter camo. Hopefully someone out there can come up with a couple of pics. Don M.

Thanks for the reply. I got mine cheap at my LHS a while back, but have been wanting to build it for a while. Got a good bit of it together now, but always liked the JGSDF winter camo, so... Anyhow, I have the winter Type also, but did not look at it's directions for this one. Good idea.

Still, hope someone can find a pic of one (if it exists...).
