Well guys and gals, here is what's been occupying me for some time. I have the privilege, no, the HONOR to be part of a small group of modelers that is building the models that will go onto a huge diorama of the first Thunder Run on April 5, 2003. The diorama will housed at the 3rd ID museum at Ft. Stewert, Georgia. I volunteered to build 3 of the models.

Here is HQ66, COL Perkins track and a M113A3. He was 2nd Brigades commander and during the Run, he carried a reporter and camera man along with the track crew:




Here we have C65, a M1A1 called Crusader II. This vehicle was the last vehicle in the column:




last we have a M2A2 Bradley, bumper number R12. This vehicle sustained a coupe of RPG hits and a lot of small arms fire witch I will be depicting:




By the way and if you are wondering, these 3 models and the other models that will be in the diorama are being built from actual photos from the actual crews of the vehicles.
