I really wondered if there might be something about this show and am happy to see you guys fulfilled my hope. There was so much to see that I'm sure that I missed a lot. To Jan, I hope you did well as I didn't stick around for the awards (it was just so long a day). I saw several of your builds on the table and I have to say that they were better in person than your posted images here. I also have to say that the Braille, monster gun I saw blew my mind! All in all, the small scale kits were in many ways superior to their bigger cousins.

AJ

@firstcircle -Matthew,
Thank you Matthew for editing and getting this feature up.
@weathering_one -AJ,
Thanks for the compliments and glad that you got to the show. Yes, it can be a bit of long time but it might not seem so if you had entered something. The monster gun you mention is a Hobby Boss "Gustav" 80cm railway gun and was built by a member of my local club. It took the fellow a little over a year to build and I believe he mentioned that the kit contains 2000 or more parts. He got it from a mail order place out west for a little under $200 (MRSP is $325). We can consider ourselves lucky to have seen it because he doubts it will be entered in too many shows as it's just too big and unwieldily to transport.
Cheers,
Jan
