The air hose is an Iwata and the tank is a Sparmax tank system. As you can see, they don't fit together. What fitting or adapter do I need? I'd like to continue to use the Iwata coil hose.

For things like that I just go to Lowe's or Home Depot with the part in hand. Go to the air tools section and you'll find what you need.

I didn't know Lowes/HD sell air hose stuff. I figured out the fitting sizes. The Iwata hose end fitting is 1/4 and the Sparmax tank fitting is 1/8. They are standard sizes and I hope to find a fitting at Lowes.

Yeah Chris I knew it from the photo. You need a 1/8" female to a 1/4" male fitting. HD is lousy with them. Make sure you get a roll of Teflon tape to seal the threads. It comes in little white spools and should be hanging with the air tools. You just wrap it on the threads before you screw it on to make it airtight.

If you have one localey, I would recommend Harbor Freight. Except for the actual ab and compressor, I use them for all of my ab needs.

reducer bushings aren't usually too bad....... not like elbows. I went thru almost a dozen from Depot and they all leaked.

Too lazy to drive to Lowes. So I ordered an adapter from Chicago Airbrush. Since the price of it was only $2.60, I ordered other AB stuff to justify shipping (a great excuse)!

If it's not hanging with the air tools, it will be over in the plumbing section, where it's used to ensure that threaded pipe joints are watertight.
