I just found this great site in MSN communities. It's strictly instructions for all makes of military vehicles. It's at http://communities.msn.ca/WWIIMVRCIIII. That stands for WW2 Military Vehicle Resourse Center. Check it out. If you've ever lost instructions or gotten a kit without them, this is the place for you. Thanks guys. Chris (Tiger 1) Carney.

It's a great idea. But is it just me or does it seem like the image needs to be just a bit larger to read?

We could start our own instruction library. Everyone send a list of their instructions to Jim, he can post the list, and if someone needs a particular instruction, we could scan & e-mail it the person or post them on the site for downloading. I have dozens of old instructions that I keep in binders. One binder for armor, aircraft, sci-fi, etc.

Keeping the old instructions in a binder is a great Idea, I will have to start doing that. The sharing idea is a good one also. I will start keeping mine so I can help out in the future.

I'm in, I've got a binder full of old sheets too.

Maybe we could consider a Decal Bank as well...

I keep my decals in a binder too, segregated in document protectors and tabbed like 1/72 aircraft, sci-fi, 1/35 WWII US Armor, etc.

I'm keeping my decals in a plastic container - like a shoe box with a couple of bags of dessicant in there to keep 'em dry.

So, maybe we could have an Instruction Sheet Bank, Decal Bank - and what seems to come next is a Figure Bank for all those left over body parts not littering a diorama somewhere

I've got enough left over figures to model the Million Man March (about 100)

Now I don't feel so bad. I spare all the figures that come into the kits, but I still buy the old toy solders too. I think I have close to a Legion of little green men...

Hi Guys!
I know how this service is necessary, recently I acquire a kit from a friend (an Italeri Panzer IV H,F,G1) and it came with no instructions or decals, I got a hard time trying to get the instructions sheet, but I got it using the www from a guy from spain, he scanned it and send me by e-mail.
So if have something I could do for a model pal, stand by me!
Regards

By the way
I keep my unused decals on an inexpensive photografy booklet, the type that comes when we reveal photos on a photo shop, do you know that?

The best way to do the instruction is in Adobe Acrobat format. I've been thinking of doing this myself but did'nt know if there was any interest.

Hi Everybody,
This Instruction library sounds like a natural., but why wait for a request ? Why not scan and upload to a library , a few at a time? Or maybe the "Powers That Be" could limit everyone to one per day.
My $.02 :-)

:-) I think a listing would take up less space and is probably more practical, and easier to manage. It would be a shame, for example to have instructions using up space that nobody required. A listing with the donors contact information would probably work though.

Thata all folks.

Jack, that sounds like a good idea. Just put a listing up and if you click on Tamiya M48A3 instruction, an e-mail pops up to request it from a certain person. I'm not adverse to burning off a copy and mailing or scanning the instructions and e-mailing to someone. I've done it many times for various folks.

Jim, are you listening?
I too think that Jack's idea is most practicle! I have a few, certainly not alot of em but, I would be happy to add a list of what I have and act as another resource.

I gotta bunch of 'em too! A lot of mine are pretty old, since I've been accumulating them for about 30 years...wait...make that , um...13 years, yeah...13 years. ( That 30 number makes it look like I'm getting old.)

Growing older, but not up...

I'd be more than happy to contribute what little I have as well.
