If this does as good a job as Mr. Surfacer I look forward to trying it with it being solvent free.

It looks very easy to use. I would prefer water instead of alcohol for cleanup, but it is much better than other solvents.

I should expect True Earth to sell it from their site, tybugg.
If anyone trys it out I hope they make a report on how well it works.

Hi, Sgt.Ram!

Thanks for the tip! If this stuff is as good as it sounds, not only will it help me out with all of my 1/35 AFVs, but it will also be greatly appreciated in making things easier in assembling my HUNDREDS of 1/48 Aircraft!!!

Not new at all. Deluxe Materials 'Perfect Plastic Putty' is used in the same way, oderless and can be diluted with water.

Sure sounds like DM's Perfect Plastic Putty. I might just order one to see if they're the same. Really like the PPP stuff.

I have to disagree with that and with the information we have thus far.Deluxe material have supplied a putty which shares some of the attributes but it is a paste this would seem to be a liquid, at least that is what I believe at this time.

Also note that the product from True Earth is a resin water based product, where the deluxe is just water based. I have tried the Deluxe product, and it does not work the same way the True Earth product is described.

So once cured, is it resistent to alcohol and water? If not this will be an issue when washing your model down prior to painting. I have ordered a bottle, so I'll find out soon enough, just curiuos.

I recently purchased some and it works GREAT!!!! Filling in seams is easy and then removal is easy as pie.. a little rubbing alcohol and all the excess is removed, normal primer didn't affect it one bit... and the best thing is i didn't have to worry about removing any detail around where it was applied... always a bonus

Looks like Perfect Plastic Putty to me, with the difference that you can clean this one with just water.

This is NOT the same as PPP, this putty you paint into the gaps and wipe away any excess. No sanding involved.
The dollar is very strong right now, worth more than a Euro, so buying overseas is good! I bought two jars and shipping was only $5USD... $20 USD for the whole package.
And the Yen is down to 118 to the dollar, so buying from the east is good hunting, too.
Best,
