I have a Tamiya Model Hanomag 251 with the following license plate decals
WH-816297
WH-939501
WH-154289
Which of these license plates were at France after D-Day? And the markings 321 or 123 that meanms the third division second platoon first car?

Hi Hella-
You could use any of the license plate decals for a 251 in France. Those are Heer plate numbers, not SS, so if you put any figures in there - be sure not to use SS guys.
As far as the vehicle numbers go - that kinda depends on the unit... The most common method of vehicle numbering for the 3 digit code is:
1st number - Company number
2nd number - Platoon number
3dr number - Vehicle number
Some panzer divisions modified this system a bit, so this isn't a hard and fast rule - just a general guideline.

Hey, Jeff, I'd argue about the third number for a 1944 vehicle. It's pretty low and I would expect it to be an early war plate. By 1944 a lot of plates were 7 digits so I would probably skip that last plate.

hehe - you are correct Paul... my brain turned off after I read "in France"... I forgot in my reply that he was looking for post D-Day plates.... sorry :-)
The top two plate numbers would certainly be better choices.
