Here's what I wish to know: I'm not yet very familiar with the so called "weatering" techniques. I know this term indicates a lot of different treatments (rust, dust, dirt, scratches, crashes, etc.), but I don't really know how to practically realize them. Any hint would be appreciated...is there possibly any written document out there which describes in detail every, or most, weathering step?
To be more specific, I'm planning to weather a 1/35 Panther tank, and I was wondering if there is any particular trick to remind: for example, some scratches would reveal the tank undercoat paint...what color could that be, if any different from raw metal, for a 1944 south european camo Panther A?
Thanks for the help
