Hi Gang,
I stumbled across some footage from Grenada that proves the use of M718 A1 Ambulance MUTT in the invasion. Had any company ever released a conversion set for the M718?
TIA

I don't think so Hans. If anyone knows of one though, I'm also definitely interested in hearing about it.

I don't know of any either, but it doesn't look too dificult to build the rear extension tray and litter racks. The canvas could also be done using water/PVA glue soaked tissue paper cut to fit bows made of plastic rod.

Actually put it on my to-build-list after I found detail pics on Primeportal. All I need now is a state-of-the-art M151 kit
BTW Has anyone information/pics of the FAC/Observer MUTT sporting an umbrella shaped antenna?

Academy's M151A2 with hardtop and trailer is pretty nice. The tires suck and need to be replaced with either a set of Tamiya tires (which are pretty accurate) or AM tires (DEF models has a few). There is also an Eduard PE set for the M151A2 and Legend just came out with a nice resin/PE update set.
For a good M1511A1, Tamiya's new one is pretty nice.
Check out my M151 Feature Article for more details.

It's amazing how you can depend on Frenchy to find a photo of ANYTHING!
Here are some gratuitous shots of my own efforts to kitbash an M718A1 from the Tamiya M151A2. A nifty little item for the shelf! I didn't hit it too hard with detail or weathering, but it's passable.
If you jump through the photos into my Flickr set, you'll see I took a bunch of photos all along the build.
thanks,
Sean H.

Two more FAC M151's fitted with (I guess...) the MRC-107 radio pallet :
On a side note Hans-Hermann, if you're looking for something even more spectacular, what about a M151 fitted with a AN/MSQ-103 Special Purpose Receiving Set :

Hi all,
thanks for all the inforamtions.
@Sean excellent build of the M718, It will efinitly help when I do it myself someday.
@Frenchy That Electronic Warfare contraptions looks tempting. But I rather stick to some conventional MUTT builds.
