Hello, what kind of stowage can you have inside a M-atv mrap? The version i am going to build is with the Blast models Crows 2 weapon station!
Where do they have the ammo boxes? And how do they look for the Crows 2? Are they avalible in 1/35?
Can you put AT-4 inside the veichle... If so where do you have it?
Is the veichle used by EOD troops, if so , do they have some specific equipment with them? I will build it with the spark mine roller from blast models!
So can someone tell me what stowage i can put in the veichle...

Hi there Interesting question,
I cant speak for every MRAP crew that I saw but I saw all sorts of gear from .50cal Sniper rifles in an Engineer MRAP To rations and water, day bags and camel backs, for the most part I think you can have Artistic Licence As a soldier I can tell you thing,s will be jammed anywhere and everywhere they can fit or be strapped down Everything from magazine literature Ammo tins and pretty much anything else that's going to feed and hydrate you between fight to Ammo re supps after the fight In my Bushmaster we used to Tape cans of redbull to the aircon vents as well as bottles of water we used to do this so when the dismounts returned they at least had some thing cold to knock back Just keep in mind that these vehicles were used to minimise the Injury from mines and IEDs so if theres stuff inside the vehicle not strapped or fixed in place then The overpressure will turn it into frag

Hope I am of some assistance cheers Ben.

I posted about 100 pics of an MATV here

The pics were (obviously) taken between missions, so there's not much in the way of food, water, etc. When we rolled, we had ammo stored in the rack between the front seats, and kept a cooler and MREs strapped down on the gunner's platform (leaving room for the gunner of course). Everything was strapped down in case of a blast or rollover. We didn't keep an AT-4 inside the crew compartment, that's something the gunner would have up with him in the turret. We kept outside stowage to a minimum, since the Afghans would steal anything they could reach. Generally it was fuel, a stretcher, and cots if we were going out for more than a couple of days, all tied down very securely.

With 5 guys inside the vehicle for many hours, sometimes days, the interior was pretty trashed. Pop-Tarts, Rip-Its, power bars, beef jerkey, and slim jims, and lots and lots of water were the favorites. If you look at picture 32, you'll see a thin black wire coming from the bottom left of the main intercom control box; that's where we hooked up the ipod for music over the headsets....that was very important. Also, don't forget to have a yellow water bottle rolling around on the floor.
