Hey guys,
I was wondering, what would a typical EOD crew in eg. Afghanistan or Iraq bring to the job? I'm currently building an EOD M1114 Uparmoured Humvee, serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. I already have the robot, control module, one crew member manning the crew module, and a few ammo crates. What should I add? Also, would the crew be using the Mk. 19 AGL or the M2 50. Cal up top?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Henry van den Top

Nerves of steel!
I did the Humvee with Pro-Art hard-top as an EOD vehicle a while ago. Put a few Pelican cases in the back for tools and stuff which might be an idea for you. Have you considered one of the EOD suits?
I think either weapon on the mount would be acceptable or even an M240
Good luck with your build
Sean

Hi,
Where did you get the pelican cases? They would look the part in the back of the vehicle. I considered a suit, but I wanted to depict a scene where the crew is just booting up the robot and the control module. So the suit would be somewhere in the back. I couldn't find a separate suit anywhere, so I decided to leave it.
Thanks for replying!
Regards,
Henry

Hey,
Might be the same robot, I use the AFV club robot, which is a separate kit. For the control module I use a Black Dog figure, with the controller on a barrel, which happens to be about the same height as a Humvee tailgate.
