#:-)
Slowly but surely i am going to get it done.
Here we see my 20mm Flak 38 gunpit. It is based (kind of) on a picture i have. Tree log supports for dirt are self poured resin. (Resin can be fun!) :-)
Tamiya Sand bags for an idea of how sandbags are going to be placed. These sandbags look huge!! I will be making my own, time permitting.
I am hoping to have the real groundwork down this week.
I am running out of time.
I have to take EVERYTHING that can be moved out of my basement, as we are going to have the Asbestos removeed from the basement plumbing. SO i have to move my whole workshop out, to where i have no idea.
At least she decided to wait until after the holidays!! (:-)

I hope you have time to make your own sandbags cuz I hate Tamiya's. Personally I would go without and add them in later if you run out of time (that's just me though).

Alpha, The picture i have is an emplacement on the Kuban River , before or during Kursk. It looks like sand, but it is really hard to tell. So i am going to do grass.
As for how the gun would be placed (boards or something stable?) I have no clue how it should be done.
Anyone have any ideas????
And yes, making all those logs was fun. Too bad it took me so long to figure out an easier way.
