All Panther Ausf. A have zimm?

I have a Panther ausf. A, and was wondering if I need to do zimm. Or could I get by with none this time?

I'm no Panther expert nor do I have any Panther specific references but in the references that I do have Panther G's are the only one's without zimmerit. I'm sure someone out there more edjumacated than I am will give you a better answer though.
One of my thoughts on German WWII armor though is that almost anything is possible...

I too have a Panther A (late) and have been researching this question.From what I have discovered only a very few early Panther A's and no late versions were without Zimmerit so you'll need to research which tank you are going to build without.

Only some Panther A early didnīt use zimeritt.

Some very early Panther Ausf A's did not have Zimmerit, but most had it. All Late Panther Ausf A's had Zimmerit.
