Did any deployed Buffalos have the slat armor with CROWS like the Bronco kit? The only one I see on google seem to have some slat but also some armor blocks on the side in place of slat. I was hoping to be able to just build the Buffalo OOB and add the CROWS 2.

Jason,
I work with a guy who built the buffalo then went to both Iraq and Afganistan as a contract worker for Force Protection. I also live less than 10 minutes from GDLS and I see these beasts all the time.
He said they did all sorts of things to these buffalos so to say "is it possible" anything is possible is what he told me, he saw so many different configrations he lost count. I will ask him what they called the armor on the sides of the truck, he told me but i forgot what they called it. Ifany of you have question you would like answers to just ask I will try to get them answered. The pic Frenchy posted is a buffalo with the crows system. Also there is a huge difference between the Buffalo and the Buffalo A-2.

I shot this one in '08.

I think I've got photos of the A-2 as well .Whatever it is, it has new items on the lower hull. I've also got photos of it with the slab/slat armor combined.

In Henri-Pierre first photo, you can see the Blue Force tracker unit on the left hand side between the slats, and the side of the Buffalo.
