Hi guys,

I was wondering how a load as shown in this link is attached to the flatrack ?
About a quarter down the page you'll see a Leyland Drops truck carrying a watertank on a flatrack ( just above the Oshkosh wheeled tanker.
Has anyone a better clearer picture of the attachment to the flatrack ?

IIRC the DROPS pallets have ISO corners on them the other possibility is there's a DROPS hook built into the frame on the tank. Similar to the US' Hippo tank

Like Matt says, I guess the pictured flat rack is fitted with ISO twist-locks on each corner.

But the tank is slightly larger then the flatrack.

There are many types of flat rack !!!

The one you need has the two iso locks just behind the head board and the rear two are on swivel out extensions that lock in place for the the rear two corner blocks.

I have photos and scale drawings if you can hold on till I find them
