Here are my 2 sisters. These are DML6560 kits that I purchased when they first realeased. I started building both at the same time in an attempt to build 2 "Normandy Workhorses". I wanted to build what I considered 2 "quintessential Normandy panzers that most American, British, and Canadians would run into. I had a hard time deciding between the 21st Panzer Division, the 12th SS and 2nd SS and the 2nd Panzer Division. I ultimately decided to build 2 sisters from the 2nd Panzer Division but sort of made some 'Ausf Me's" in that their paint schemes are a mix between common schemes of the 12th SS, 2nd SS and 2nd Pz Div. I don't have a lot of build photos just these during the wash, filter, detail and weathering stages which are till in progress. I plan on adding thease in a colum on a 1 foot diorama base pf a simple norman road bordered by a hedge on one side, and field grass on the other. I'm still deciding whether or not i should add my Eduard foliage sets to cover them in a realistic fashion or non to show off the detail and paint job. I'm desperately looking for Mk.35 productions foliage/hedge material but being that I live in Missouri, can't find an online vendor to buy and ship through! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!!

Nice work. Copy the BBCode (message boards & forums) and paste, no formatting needed, that will give you your original photo size. If you add an S, M or L to the end of the file name, you get a small, medium or large version of your pic.

Just so everyone knows, I'm experiencing Image posting and formatting HELL right now. I'll likely make a proper post with great photos later on.

Builds like yours make me miss my ongoing panzer collection. You have done an excellent job, on both of them. I like your camo scheme. The decals are very attractive. And, it's nice to see builds not following current popularity which are far too heavily weathered.

Some great renditions of the PZ 4. A good inspiration for me for I want to build one eventually.

I really appreciate the comments. I'm actual relieved to hear that my weathering was well done as I have been very worried I over did it by a mile and ruined 2 $60 DML Panzer IVs lol. My "Second Panzer Division Sisters" don't match the ones in the photos from 1944 exactly since after studying for a while, I realized their exact paint schemes would not translate well or at least not with my skill in 1:35 acrylic. I basically mixed common unit schemes from 2nd SS, 12th SS, 21st Panzer, and 2nd panzer to creat some Pz.kpfw IV H Ausf Me's belonging to the 2nd Panzer Division. Thanks!
