Hi guys, having almost finished 1/72 scale dora i realised it needed trucks figures etc to give the model size.
so i altered base and turned it into a dio ( my first) any comments are welcome.

Impressive! But why is a crew loading a Nebelwerfer nearby. The Dora would have been miles behind front lines.

In squadron armor no 15 german railway guns it says the heavy artillery unit consiting of one dora and 3870 men , the support troops included amongst others a nebelwerfer detachment.

Wow! Fantastic build. Makes sense to include nebelwerfers to give cover in case of artillery, air, or ground attack.
