Hi, All
I have been scouring the internet for large scale Jeep kits.
Verlinden to a nice, but expensive, kit.
I recall that someone else did another, similar scale kit.
I have seen reveiews of the 1/24 Hasegawa kit, but it is the larger scale I am interested in finding.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks in advance

Verlinden's Jeep is 1/15 scale, and you are right, it is expensive.
In addition to the new Hasegawa Jeep, Italeri makes the Willys Jeep in 1/24 scale as well. They box it in two variants, one as a military jeep with canvas top, the other is a Fire Jeep. This is the same exact kit but molded in red, black and clear and comes with an extra sprue that includes the fire equipment. Neither Jeep includes armament or a radio.
AMT also reissued the old Hogan's Heroes Jeep in 1/24 scale as well. It includes a machine gun, recoilless rifle and the ability to make a civilian variant.

If you don't mind some serious work, one of the die-cast model car companies has a jeep in 1/16th (Daisho? I'm sorry I can't remember exacly) It doesn't look too bad but it would certainly be a lot cheaper than Verlinden's, same company also makes a 1940 'Woody' station wagon which has great conversion potential as a staff car...Jim (:-)
