Hi,
I'm building a T34-76 Mod 1941 (Dragon 6205) one of the suggested options for painting in that kit is the tire-track camouflage, I'd like to do that, but instead of using the provided decals to create the camo, I'd like to do it myself.
My problem is that I only found one picture of a real tank with that camo (here it is).
From the above picture it's not clear the exact location of the track painting, anyone knows about another pictures to use as a reference?
Thanks in advance!

P 34 of T-34 Camouflage and markings has an illustration of one if you can get a copy. Also P25 has a pic of 2 in the factory in that scheme. Interestingly they also refer to it as grid camouflage and winter forest type.

Nice work on the painting and weathering.
From your found reference picture as well as those from Frenchy, it looks like they were painted by hand on the 1/1s
What did you use to make your pattern?

I've used women's netfish stockings to make the pattern ... I had to go to a lingerie shop to buy them; I still remember the face of the saleswoman when I ask her for that stockings
