Frenchy or Al or anyone else, do you have photos of the ammo boxes of the 6" howitzer the Matador pulled?

Photos of the shell boxes stacked inside (along with other stowage, whatever was typical)?

Also, anyone have the AFV Club kit who could give me the dimensions of the truck bed, including length, width AND height (with the tarp deployed)?

Preference would be for North Africa, but BEF would be fine, too. Thanks in advance.

Also, who would be up for Steve Munsell at ValueGear making up stowage for the Matador kit?

...or maybe it's just that WW2 British artillery is not my main field of interest

HI Bill

Here's mine as a WIP. The side tarps are positively horrible and only really fit for the bin so have replaced them with lead foil. I also have a set of wheels winging their way back to me after being cast in resin...

External dimensions of rear unit....

L 125mm
W 65mm
H 50mm

Thanks, Gary, the lead tarps look fantastic. I assume you scratched the tie-downs? Again, excellent work.

Wow, Frenchy, only TWO per set? That's outrageous. They're $6 a set. You'd need about 5-10 sets for an artillery diorama.

Hi Bill,

I think Formations may have done a set, might be with the new manufacturer (Tiger Models?).

Can't think of anyone else at the moment. Agreed, very expensive.
