Hi everyone, I'm after trying to find out which armoured units using either churchills or shermans were used in or just after the normandy landings as I'm building a Farm Buildings diorama of both British armour and figures. I'm also going to be putting two universal carriers in with it as well. So if anyone knows of any decent websites that show what units were where thats be a great help.

Its funny you bring up this website as when i was searching for the book i stumbled across it myself lol pretty much what I was looking for. not bad to find out some of the basic info im after. cheers!!

Churchills were found in the Army level tank brigades, of which 6GTB reported having IVs (some with 75mm) and Vs; 31TB had IIIs, IVs (some with 75mm), Vs and VIs and 34TB had IIIs, IVs (some with 75mm), Vs, VIs and VIIs all as at 30th June.

For Shermans, the link provided looks fairly accurate to me when compared with the RAC six-monthly report from which I extracted the Churchill info.
