I've become disillusioned with the Trumpeter BTR-50 kit, and doing research found that the early BTR-60's were introduced to Soviet service by then. I assumed they were in common use by 1962? (I plan to use a PT-76 for East Germany and the West German-version M41 for West Germany.)
