My beloved spouse decided she wanted to try her first tank. Unfortunately she chose the now loathed Tauro Fiat 3000 Mod. 21. She's managed to get all the way through the build with some very creative expletives and "time out" breaks of months or longer... until the tracks. Like every other build and reviewer has mentioned of this abomination in plastic, the tracks come nowhere near fitting, might be almost a half-inch too short.
I can't find any aftermarket tracks, and I don't really want us to buy another kit and try to thread the additional tracks while burning the additional plastic, but I will if that what it takes for her to finish it. Help? Suggestions? Other tracks that are "close enough in the fog of war" we can substitute?
She is very depressed. TIA

Hi Tracey,

It seems that other modelers have had the same problem.
Try the solution offered in this article:

So what are all the major gripes about this model? Except for a few pin marks to fill, and tracks a little short, the above reviewer did not mention any other problems, or fit issues. Maybe other modellers did not match up the turret panels properly?
