I just started the AFV Club kit and was studying lots of period photographs. The kit provides the extended exhaust stacks and extended air intakes all of which I'd love to use but none of the photographs save one ("Company") show these tanks with the extended air intakes, even those that were stopped right at the shore line or in the water. I'm sure the crews wanted to get rid of those things ASAP before going into action but I can't seem to find much evidence of their use from the photos available. Were only a limited number so equipped?

try a search for "Dieppe ww2" in google images. As far as I know it was one of the few times they were used in any number. Operation Rutter.
