I forgot to use maskol on the turret optics on the Dragon 1/35 Stug and they are covered with Mr Surfacer 1200 (idiot, I know). Is there any way to remove it without ruining the clear plastic. If not I can always finish the painting and just hand paint them with future over.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Use some Mr Color thinner and small pointed cotton swabs from Gunze.

Mr Surfacer is pretty tough stuff, and once it's set I don't know if anything will take it off without melting the plastic. You might try sanding it off with really fine sandpaper then painting the surface with pledge to get the nice, shiny clear finish back.

Tamiya lacquer thinner does a number and does not craze the plastic . Now Mr Hobby makes a Mr Paint Remover not sure if that will react to the clear plastic .
