Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of features were included on the Merkava IV LIC, such as the type of skirts that were used (Anti-RPG or non Anti-RPG), the presence of grills on the sights and lights, and the type of bins that were used on the rear of the hull. According to some photos, I have seen some examples that use the bins the kit provided and some examples have bins that resembled cages. Thank you everyone for your kind assistance. =D

From what I saw from photoes of friends who served on Mk.4 in that op you should use the heavier skirts with the older ones last two (the caged ones).
As for the screens use only the exhaust's and use the loader's hatch only if you use the decals from first academy kit (20 gimel - brigadier's tank).

@GuyGos: you are definitely a friend =D. Are you referring to these skirts? Sorry I'm only pasting the image's url; I don't know how to embed images like the other folks.

Also, if I don't have the first academy kit, may I also ask where I can find the markings for 20 gimel - brigadier's tank? Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the delay in responce my pc is down and it took a while to get to serfing the nwt on my phone lol.

Anyhow yeah those skirts and as for the decals maybe bison's mk.4's set could be useful just look at the first kit's instructios for the right choice of symbols and such.

Thanks for your help. I hope your pc is better now. Phones are just not the same as computers when it comes to net surfing . Hopefully, I can figure out how to post pictures of the finished tank soon.

Hey GuyGos, I have one more question about the 20 gimel - brigadier's tank, does it have any unit markings on the rear bustle? From what I gathered online, some tanks had placards on the rear, while others don't. Thanks again for your help.

That's usually on company commanders', may battlion buy I really don't think that brigadiers have those.

I think the markings in the Academy kit are pretty rare, and possibly incorrect I've heard. Here's a photo from Cast Lead showing the variety of markings you could choose.

Also a thread on the marking system HERE

The 20 gimel tank has no company chevron or battalion stripes, after all, it is not a part of any battalion and the HQ company of a battalion or a brigade are not marked by chevrons.
