Got a little more work done on the figures, smocks painted and base coat on pants.

Here are a couple better pictures of the figures as I progress. For the pants, I took a bit of a short cut. Painted them with Vallejo British Uniform, shaded with British Uniform with a little German Grey, then a wash of Vallejo Umber Shade wash, then dry brushed with British Uniform and Khaki.
Next the weapons and flesh.

Alright, figures are done mostly, just need to add decals, provided by Bronco for rank and Airborne insignia, some dull coat, then add to vehicle.

Very nice Kev, they should look good when added to the vehicle. Is the vehicle going on a diorama or plain base?

A good looking build and a nice kit. I don't envy you painting those figures.

Well, this build is done, except for the weathering, but based on the timing of my move next week, it will have to wait for another time. As for the kit from Bronco, this is a great kit, great subject, and a highly recommended build.
The kit and figures build very well, the kit almost falls together, and is very well engineered.
While the gun does included some small, and frustrating, parts, the end result is well worth it. The 6 pdr is very well detailed, and looks great assembled.
The figures build well, fit is great. The only issue I found with the figures is locating them all as laid out in the image, but does leave room for a little flexibility.
Once I am moved and settled into the new "hobby room", I am planning a diorama for this, maybe having the jeep pulling out of a field onto a road head for the first target.
Do yourself a favour and get and build this kit. It is a fun build, and the end results are great. (Well minus my figure painting abilities).
I highly recommend this kit from Bronco.
Armorama would like to thank Bronco for the review sample.
