Are the gun barrels on mid-1970s T-64 and T-72 (with thermal sleeve) identical?

Is RB model T-72 barrel a good aftermarket barrel for mid-1970s T-64 and T-72? How about very early T-80s?

If you are talking about the 2A46 125mm Barrel then Yes its the same, and NO the RB Item is NOT Accurate Read the Blog on the 2A46 as it gives you a comparison on the Different AM Barrels. The Early T-64 was equipped with the 115mm and later it received the 125mm, and you can see Both the T-64,72,80 with & with-out the Thermo Sleeve. And with only Half of it in place.

At the Top of the Page under JDs Article on the BMP is the Feature on 2A46 Barrels. As for A 2A46; Model Point is the only IMHO Barrel that I think is the Best. But that's Just Me, Personal Preference is up too you. some like PE and some Hate it. And in half of the Armor that I build the kits barrel is just fine in most cases.
Again check your References if you are Building a Specific Vehicle, and if Cost is Not A Issue then Go with the Barrel you like the Most.
