I have been away from this lovely hobby for a good 7-8 years or so but now I think it's about time to pick it up again.
I recently built an old Tamiya Tiger 1 for my kid and it was just as fun as i remember it.
So, I went out and bought me a kit to eventually put in a diorama. I saw this nice looking Bronco-kit (a company name I never heard of before...) and dove right in.

Opening the box sure made me think twice about what I had gotten myself into. PE and tiny plastic-parts everywhere!
But I must say, it's a great piece of kit and a joy to put together.

I was thinking of making it pretty straight out of the box and just ad some wiring and gear.
Since I have yet to buy an airbrush, I just took whatever I had available to paint it.
Krylon spraycans for the larger parts (hopefully it will not kill the plastic) and Vallejo acrylics for the rest.
Weathering and washes are all made with oils.
The sand inside looks very yellow but that is just the cameraflash distorting it. I might tone it down later on.

Any tips and pointers are most welcome. Updates are hopefully coming later on.

Thanks.
I'm just worried that the weathering is a bit much.
I have done some research on interiors and they mostly look a bit scruffy.
Advice from anyone with some experience from actual service would be much welcome.

Cheers

This project is sure taking some time.
Started with some weathering on the outside and a little bit of scratchbuilding.

Found one picture of a homemade basket on the side of the turret, so I decided to make me one.
Took some leftover PE and an old mesh I found in the scrapbox.

And some of the overall progress:

Thanks for watching
