LRM 35002

I am planning to paint mine Multicam, but I don't know what comes in Multicam pattern and what doesn't.

Is everything in Multiam pattern: Camelbak, body armor, Deltoid shoulder armor, side pouches, ammo pouches, and helmet cover? If not, what color should the non-Multicam gear be in?

Thanks in advance.

As you can see from the below pic, all the gear comes in Multi-Cam. You could throw in a couple pieces in UCP or Coyote Brown though, just for some variety.

Thanks, Gino.

How about the Deltoid kevlar shoulder armor that covers the shoulders and biceps...does that come in Multicam also? I see some Airsoft players wearing them in Multicam, but I am not sure if the U.S. Army has them in Multicam.

Yes, the DAPS come in Multi-Cam as well. Please don't use the airsoft dweebs as references for anything.

Wow, Cagkan, whoever painted that did a really stellar job! Thank you all for the helpful answers.

As Gino said, the uniform would be almost entirely in Crye Precision Multicam. Although other colors like Coyote Brown would be used as well on some pieces such as knee or elbow pads. The helmet, a ACH/MICH, is seen in 3 different forms: the 2000 (full ear protectors), 2001 (cut out ear protectors), and 2002 (half-ear protectors).

Also, in the link Cagkan posted, the picture in the back doesn't quite look like MultiCam... Just looks a bit too dark with a bit different pattern.

And a side note: Some airsofters go all out... if some pictures of them in their gear was put side to side against the gear the actual soldiers use, it could be almost indistinguishable.

2 questions.First, excuse my ignorance, but what are airsoft?
Second, I'm doing figures right now with digital or multi cam.Masterbox.The instructions show the knee pads in black and the box art has them in a tan color. Is there a consistent color they should be or is it a hit and miss version of what you get?

Most of the time, kneepads are issued in the same pattern as the uniform being issued for wherever you are deploying to. The three most common colors are digital UCP (ACU), multi-cam, and cayote brown. OD Green and black can be seen as well, but mostly w/Spcial Ops units.

Thanks, Marcos. I saw and saved your photos for reference, but I've seen the vest in Multicam as well so I was wondering if I can paint it Multicam, which I did with my figure. Great paint job, by the way!

Hi,

firstly, nice figure there, well done.

How is the camelback fitted, please? Straps over the back, or direct to the plate carrier?

Cheers,

Kylie

In actuality it would be attached directly to the MOLLE webbing on an armor carrier or other system that utilizes MOLLE webbing.
