heres some pictures of my black knight figure under way I've added the head and arms with blue-tac to take the photos the fit was ok I had to fill a bit were the torso meets the legs hence why the belt looks a little flat at the back but this will be out of sight one the shield is in place I've had to sand back in places due to the primer creasing in areas sadly it's took some of the detail off a bit but not to worried as it's my 1st figure,

Nice assembly. These figures are fun and turn out well. I did the Knight c1300 and had a blast with it.
Don't forget the spurs, they're small and easy to overlook.

Mike:
Construction looks really nice so far. I find that the loss of detail and areas that need to be filled are inherent with all resin kits. In many cases you'll never notice it again after the whole figure is done becuase the eye is drawn to so many different areas of the figure.
Have a Great Holidays!!!!

My frtiend, John, did this figure (his first) a couple years ago. Builds up quite nicely. What are you going to use for the mail and helm? If you are planning MM metalizers, cleaing off the primer might be a good idea, as these will; show the grain of the primer.
Keep us posted.
One nice thing about this figure is you don;t have to mess with painting eyes!

I painted chain mail on a Teutonic knight figure, I thought it turned out pretty good. It was pretty simple too. Paint all the chain mail area in gun metal, then drybrush with steel. Or paint it all steel, then give it a wash with gun metal. I'll post a pic in my gallery so you can see what it turned out like. The figure is not quite done yet though. #:-) #:-)
