After 3 years, now I'm back at build Armour. I grab DML 6360 Panzer IV Ausf F2 (G). Now im having a hard time deciding which PE set maker ill go with, I cant get voyager because it doesn't available right now. Im choosing to these Brand:
-Griffon 2in1 Set for ausf f2 and Griffon Track fenders
-Eduard Set for panzer IV Ausf f2 (g)
-or Aber Photo etch for Ausf F2
Griffon set included a metal gun barrel while the Aber set is i need to scratch build some parts using plastikard? I saw here at the forums that he was building his Ausf f2 but have 3 kind of pe set including voyager. Is Aber set has full details including trackfenders and chains?

I'd go with the Griffon set(s), I used one for an E and was impressed with the detail. I don't think any have fenders included in basic sets, except for maybe the mud flaps and I believe Griffon provide some chains. Second choice would be Aber, I haven't used any sets for the Pz IVs, but their quality is usually very good. Eduard is so-so. Sometimes good, sometimes a little over simplified.

I would strongly recommend the voyager set. It may not be available at your vendor of choice, but it is available. See here, as one example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Voyager-1-35-WWII-German-Panzer-IV-Ausf-F2-G-VMPE35141-/180507888901?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item2a071bcd05
He does not have the best seller rating, at around 93 percent. I have ordered from him before, and his performance has been mixed, but I always received what I paid for, or was given a refund. His chief problem seems to be very slow shipping time. Of course if anyone has any other vendors with it in stock, that would be a preferable alternative.
Regardless I really feel that voyager has set the standard in aftermarket pe sets. So unless you intend to start the project right away, I would go for the voyager set and occupy myself with another project on deck.
If voyager is positively absolutely to be excluded as a possibility, go with Griffon as second best.
Aber is ok but their tool clasps are oversized for scale as some other parts.
Eduard is great for people who are inexperienced with pe, are intimated by more intricate pe sets, or simply wish to use less pe on their projects for ease of construction and greater durability.
I would not buy the griffon set with the barrel, as rb barrels can be had at a better overall price.
Don't forget to replace the aerial antennae. Aber is the best, rb is a little thick but better than the kit part.

Hey man, I feel bad that you could wait four to six weeks. I guess I presumed you had other projects on deck that you can work on.
For rb stuff, I go here:
http://stores.ebay.com/achtungpanzershop/
He also has Friuls which I recommend strongly. Helps to buy a lot of different things and stock up, as combining shipping helps take advantae of his otherwise low prices.
As for references, Trojca has a two volume set that is great. THe first voleume covers the iv f2.

Glad to help. The trojca text should be had for a lot less. Perhaps the high cost is due to where you live. Have you tried bookfinder?

Why do you prefer Griffon over voyager? I find the griffon sets more expensive, and not always with finer detail that voyager. I do feel Griffon is better than Lion Roar or Eduard (or much of Aber). Mileage of course always varies from set to set.

I bought voyager set for 18dollars plus rb model for 10dollars including shipping i think i got the a best deal compare to griffon but first i like how griffon set looks like, but you need to buy the mud fenders. While Im looking for Voyager set manual because in their poster you can see an ausf G/H with bolted front armor and hull resins?
