Great news indeed

Looks like an early 90's Mitsubishi Pajero to me :

Yes, it looks like an old Tamiya 1/24 Pajero I had.
I was wondering, is that girl checking her makeup or what?

very nice. A good choice too. Pajeros were all over Iraq and Kuwait when I was there in both '03 and '08-'09. I'll be getting this one.

ICM and other Russian manufactuers has about half a dozen passenger cars from late 1930s - 1940s. I hope someone come up with a late 1990s / early 2000 passenger car for my diarama.

One could even make it a Safari or TV crew vehicle for those non-military modelers.
I emailed TAKOM a couple of weeks ago asking if they might be willing to sell their 1/35 figures separately. They never replied, but I do hope they will package their 1/35 figures in a kit so that one doesn't have to buy the vehicle kit just to get the figure. TAKOM makes some very interesting figures that no one else does.

I told Daniel at Hobbyeasy about this, and he contacted them and told them that a lot of people are interested in this... I hope if they get enough requests about this that they would do it

Would make a pretty sweet UN, TV/PRESS vehicle too. In North America these were known as Monteros because "Pajero" (a wild cat) is also Spanish for "wanker". I think in the UK they were called Shotguns. Looks like a left hand drive too. Cool kit!

This will be a welcome release for us all, for Julian the vehicle is a Shogun (please forgive my correction) I am sure it was re-badged under a few other manufacturers.

Yes, you are right - darn my fingers! Yes, I had a Dodge Raider which was a short lived "re boxing" lol. The Trooper was huge in Canada too. A Trooper would be cool to see actually.

...also a Ford or GM or Merc van, as they are are all over the Middle East..and N.America! Maybe Takom is reading this
