Hi guys !
Need information:

This is my Pz.III just now finished. But I have no any idea about the unit emblem.

Hope you can clearly see it from the picture.

It is a black shield with white border. A skull and waves inside the shield.

I cannot find this emblem on my reference books or internet.
Surely somebody over there can identify this unit and reply !

It looks to be 3rd SS Panzer Division, with the shield and skull. Maybe the decal printer added extra for some reason.

Never seen that one before. I've seen a shield with the skull, but not one pictured here.

I have to ask. What kit is it and what do the instructions say it is?

I think it's the 18th Panzer Division. There's a pic around with those marking, fording a river or stream.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Jimmy (Grindcore): Great ! The picture you've posted helped me a lot. I've investigated starting from that picture !

The unit is definitely the 18th.Pz.Div. Some regiments were equipped with Pz.III and Pz.IV modified as Tauchpanzer. The emblem was related to those tanks.

I found this pictures (you can see the emblem on the turret) and also other documents on internet. THANKS VERY MUCH !

looks ace. Try taking pictures without your camera flash, use a couple lamps..softer light.Adjust camera for macro focus. You will be amazed. Even try Black & White.

Hi David,

Thank you very much for your comment. Sure I will follow your suggestion. basically this picture was taken by cellphone camera, with flash and the result is poor.
